Kids needs to know that we never really see what someone's made of ("know" someone) until we live with them behind closed doors...and they can "look" fine from the outside, but not be fine on the inside. Adults please help kids find an online map of the Middle East so s/he can see where our only legal ally (Israel) lives ... surrounded by Terrorist SAUDI-funded countries...that keep their people impoverished so that their young men are angry and deprived enough to seek personal/family esteem by becoming suicide bombers.
Jihad is advised by these radicalized muslim countries through their imams, mullahs, sheiks, royal princes, and king abdullah. Islamists preach "jihad" (dictionary) against all of our Western Civilizations in their madrassas (schools), mosques, in personal and online preaching. Please, show kids where Turkey is...which is the "home" of the last "Caliphate"...which was finally stopped by armies in VIENNA, AUSTRIA (1698) from slaughtering or converting the rest of "Europe" to Islam. ...................Consider that the "Crusades" began because the Islamists had been slaughtering all Christians traveling to Jerusalem for religious pilgrimage. Back in those times there were no printing presses... in those days...no books, no tv, no internet...
the "educated" people (who could read and write) were mostly clergy (dictionary). They also served as the book-makers...copying ancient scripts to share and educate from. (The invention of the PRINTING PRESS made enormous changes for cultures...like INTERNET has for us in the past twenty years.)
To see the original birth and living place of Christ ...with the original scripts and scrolls, the more fortunate people (on Planet Earth way back then) travelled to the real place to see first-hand the temples and scriptures and Garden of Gethsemane for themselves...then came back and taught their village people.
Radical Islam became very powerful from the 7th century through 1600's because the MECCA VERSES made peeps believe that Mohammed wanted them to slaughter anyone who wasn't muslim, so they would slay the men and take the women to make babies with then overpopulate each area ...teaching the kids in madrassas while the women were made to be silent-covered-up-servant/brides (essentailly women are slaves to men under radical muslim law), and children are raised from their earliest years to fear/hate/lie to all non-muslims.
They taught that the only people to speak the truth to are muslims. Lying, but pretending telling the truth, is called TAQIYYA. Lying by "living a lie" is called MARUNA.
